This fantastic achievement is the result of the hard work and dedication of South Rise’s wonderful Eco Committee, who have worked throughout the year to make the school a greener and more environmentally friendly place.

South Rise’s Eco Committee focused on three key areas: Litter, Energy and Biodiversity. From organising litter picks and helping to keep our local area clean, including a special litter pick with our local MP, Abena Oppong-Asare, to encouraging everyone to save energy and developing our school’s wildlife areas, the children have shown real passion and commitment to making a difference.

A huge well done to South Rise’s Eco Committee for all their hard work, teamwork and dedication. Achieving the Green Flag with Merit is something the whole South Rise community can be incredibly proud of!
